Love at home..

Our sweet girl is growing well and ever so fast! She is eating table food, she is crawling everywhere pulling herself to stand and moving along furniture! walking is just around the corner I'm afraid! She loves to sing, she has her favorite songs, it's just too cute! Her doctor is still blown away about her height, that is until she walks in the room to see Hyrum holding her. Annabug certainly knows her name, as we need to often reminder what is and is not appropriate, ha ha.  Everything is well, life is moving on, at an intense speed. I am just so overwhelmed with gratitude and love for our heavenly father that has provide us with each other to have every blessed day!

Wasn't it just yesterday that our precious baby girl was born?! Everyday is an adventure. She is gorwing VERY well, in height alone she is   OFF THE CHARTS! She wears a size 3 shoe at only 6 1/2 months old (Knew that one was coming). She has two teeth and is on stage 2 of that ever delicious baby food! She is becoming a beautiful little lady and we couldn't be more proud!

Happy double birthothers-day!

Our sweet girl made her arrival through a planned C-section May 13th, 2012. Which is Hyrum's birthday AND mother's day this year! The surgery was wonderful. Hyrum did not watch the entire procedure, just the moment she made her grand enterance. The first thing out of the Dr.'s mouth was "oh my! what long eyelashes!" and she has had compliments on those beautiful eyelashes ever since! Annabelle was very quite when she came out cried for only a moment and then was content in the arms of her father. When I was put back together agian we went back to my labor and delivery room, where my Dad his wife Mary and my two little sisters along with Hyrums mother and father where waiting for us. I was FINALLY able to hold my princess at this point and had her for just about long enough to get maybe 5 pictures in... then the nurse came in to just Sweet Annabelle's vitals. She wasn't breathing all that well on her own and her color was off. She was taken to the NICU. Hyrum went with the nurses and I was left in a room with everyone looking at me with the expression like they were thinking "oh crap when is she going to lose it" LOL. Oddly I wasn't worried in the least. The previous evening our wonderful home teacher Tyler came over and gave both Hyrum and I a blessing. I know that is was the power of the preisthood that was comforting me in a time that was one of the most frightening. I knew that Hyrum would have the strength he needed to support and be there for our daughter. When that comfort is in your presence I believe it is impossible to doubt that everything is going to be just fine. Annabelle was in the NICU for 2 of the 3 days of our lovely stay, then she was able to spend one night in the nursery and the following day I was able to go home early because I was doing so well. I think I handled everything pretty well withtin 5 minutes of being home i was already running errands and feeling pretty good. I was SO BLESSED to have an abundance of offers for Help and i am so grateful to my sister in-law Jen and my neice Riann for driving down from North Salt Lake to stay with me in my boring apartment. And I was so very privileged to have my mother in-law Pam to always be a phone call away if i wasn't able to have help when i needed it. My Dad and step mom called me everyday to check on me and that meant alot, even if i was groggy from no sleep and medication ha ha. I'll be honest I am not sure if i was so good at accepting help as I should have, I felt really bad and lazy ha ha. But I am grateful for the naps that I was allowed to get when my family was over to help.

BRING IT ON!

Bug had some visitors in the NICU

The first time in mommies room Uncle ZAch Auntie Jen and Ri were there to greet her highness.
Riann literally almost suffered a heartattack waiting her turn to hold Bug

Daddy visited every night after work.

Autnie Sammers read Bug her very first book.

Finally time to go home!

Merry Christmas :)

This year has been such a major blessing in our lives, and I hope I never forget the great feelings that have overwhelmed me throughout the year. I cannot describe the extraordinary privilage it was to be sealed to my husband for all eternity. Our promise to love one another forever is one that I am certian has made our love stronger.

The night we found out we were expecting our baby was one that I will definately look back on often. Shock, denial, excitment, and hesteria are just a few of the words that come to mind when thinking of that moment that positive sign popped in that window of our pregnancy test! And the overflowing love I felt seeing our baby through the many ultrasounds was a surreal but very appreciated blessing. The moment my technician announced we were expecting a baby girl, the whole world faded away and it was like everything fell into place. I haden't had a prefrence of gender but when I assured myself I was going to have a daughter it was like she was all I ever wanted.

Those two blessing are the ones that matter most to me. And today on Christmas I thank Heavenly Father for sending His Son and our Savior here so that my family could be. For sending us our sweet Annabelle and for sacrificing Himself so that we may be together forever. I love my family so very much, those of blood, those I recieved through marriage, and the family I find through my friends. Thank you for all being who you are and being in my life. Please cherish one another and have a wonderful rest of the year! Let's make next year just as good! Lots of love and Merry Christmas <3
